The Tayari Casel Martial Arts Academy teaches Chinese martial arts as well as the exciting Afrikan Martial Arts System of Self Defense. We specialize in Kung Fu, Yang Tai Chi Chuan and Kupigana Ngumi. Mfundishi Tayari Casel, an internationally recognized martial arts champion has been serving the Washington-Metroplitan community for 20 years and teaching throughout the country since 1970. Here at the Academy our commitment has always been to use the principle of the MARTIAL ARTS to create students with self confidence, self awareness and good character.

Our Academy is the ultimate cross training facility with over 2000 square feet of space, fully air-conditioned, mirrored rooms, padded workout floors, and a full complement of martial arts training equipment such as: heavy bags, target kicking pads, full size water weighted punching bags and creative skill development equipment for children.
